Chemical dependency is a life threatening illness that impacts every aspect of a person's life, destroying relationships, negatively affecting one's vocation, causing long-term health problems, destroying your dreams, while eating away at your resolve to seek help. Chemical dependency is also an illness of ambivalence that will thwart your efforts and desire to take action. With the experiential knowledge we have gleaned from working with many people over the years, we have created programming that is inviting, easily accessible, and that fits into your life in such a way as to make coming into treatment more palatable.

OUTPATIENT DETOXIFICATION SERVICES
Weyland subcontracts with outpatient clinics to provide our clients with medically managed outpatient detox services. The cost of these services are not covered in your counseling fees to Weyland and are determined by the clinic based on your detoxification needs. These services and their provision are overseen by physicians who are certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine. These services are offered as an adjunctive component to our treatment program. Due to the medical complications and associated dangers of detoxification, only those medically assessed as appropriate to receive such services in an outpatient setting will be elligible. Some courts require a formal, written assessment by a qualified chemical dependency counselor. You will find that all treatment programs conduct assessments, but they will not produce a formal assessment that may be used in court. Weyland does provides these assessments and is conversant with the handling of such matters and the requirements of the courts.
These assessments are often pivotal in the adjudication of court cases that involve alcohol or drug use. As such they will play a significant role in the ultimate outcome of your case. Please bring a copy of your court papers to your appointment so that we can be assured that our services will meet your needs.
This assessment will be the counselor's best judgment about your situation and there is no guarantee that the recommendation will be the outcome you desire. However, we believe treatment to be the outcome of choice for people who suffer with substance use disorders, and will tend to recommend treatment over incarceration. The cost of the court assessments will be dependent on the amount of time alloted to complete the assesment, gather additional information, and the write up of the assessment. Our base fee for court assessments is $750.00.
Out of State DUI support: Weyland provides assessments for out of state DUI matters as well as drinking driver education programs for out of state offenders. We have the appropriate certifications and or licenses to meet the needs of any state regarding these types of assessments. Back to top

FAMILY DRUG INTERVENTION SERVICES
Weyland Consultation Services provides Orchestrated Interventions (OI) with the specific goal of getting the identified abuser into treatment. It is our belief that such services should only be employed when a qualified counselor has assessed that it is the only option left to the family. Ethically, a less restrictive and certainly less intrusive intervention approach should first be explored before doing an OI. Our approach entertains the idea that there are often intermediate or gradations of intervention strategies that may be employed. Families are typically afraid and at their wits end when they decide that they are in need of an OI. It is the job of the trained interventionist to clinically assess both the need for an intervention, and when indicated, the level of intervention that will best serve. Weyland prides itself on providing intervention services that are tailored to the needs of the individual and his or her situation. Our interventions are performed with an eye toward minimizing additional harm to the dependent person and his or her family. Back to top
EXECUTIVE ADDICTION INTERVENTIONS
These interventions are for senior managers who have developed destructive habits such as alcohol or drug abuse. Such employees will begin to underfunction in a variety of ways that never the less have some specific outcomes that are often experienced as a loss of creativity and productivity. Such managers begin to demonstrate poor decision making often followed by a deterioration in public relations. Many of the same steps that are taken when working with families are employed when doing an Executive Intervention. Instead of family members as participants, selected senior management and colleagues form the intervention team. It is important to note that when indicated family may be involved if the interventionist and team members think it will positively impact the intervention outcome. Because of the exceptional need for privavcy in these situations we will design outpatient treatment programs specifically tailored to the needs of the senior manager. There is one flat fee for services based on the executive's annual income. Back to top

BRIEF ADDICTION TREATMENT PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Weyland provides the Brief Treatment Program for the person who meets the criteria of moderate substance abuse. Moderate abuse may be defined as binge drinking, occasional loss of control either in public or alone, or the beginning stage of drinking to manage stressors in your day-to-day life. For individuals using illicit substances, your pattern and history of use will be carefully evaluated to determine if this program will be an effective treatment approach.
This program may also be useful for the person who is taking prescription medications resulting from a medical procedure, who is becoming concerned about their increasing reliance and missuse of the medication. This program is not, however, for the client who is in need of detoxification or hospitalization services. If our assessment findings indicate that you are in need of either detoxification or hospitalization you will not be admitted to this program as it would not be in your best interest to place you in a program that is not consistent with your service needs, nor would it be medically safe or ethical to do so. We will however explore other programming options provided by Weyland that might better fit your needs, or if indicated provide you with appropriate referrals to other service providers. Back to top
